It has been three long years since his first self-titled album Juggy D hit the shelves, but this renowned South Asian vocalist is soon to make an explosive reentry into the music scene with some new tunes. His new solo project, Juggy D 2 is anxiously anticipated and will be making its way into homes all across the world within the next few months.

Juggy D or Jagwinder Singh Dhaliwal is finally living his dream. He has been into music since he was a little Juggy and his first show was remarkably at the age of 14. To be an artist and a singer means the world to him. He first realized that his ultimate achievement had been accomplished when his inaugural album was released and sold over store counters everywhere. He, however, deeply appreciates the opportunities that he has been given and declares, ”God has blessed me with my talent”. Juggy D’s belief in God and his faith are important influences in his life and a foundation for all he does.

According to Juggy, ”Rich was the person who gave me the opportunity to sing on his album.” This break-through recording essentially helped the boy genius get his foot in the door. His work with Rich later led to a record deal, international tours and work on projects with other well-known artists. Juggy D is a musical sensation and has been featured on songs with celebrated superstars such as Madonna, Britney Spears, Mary J. Blige, Missy Elliot, Justin Timberlake and Ricky Martin among others.

The young idol is energized by, ”People that appreciate me – the fans and the public.” It is also exciting for him to be learning and traveling and Juggy is looking forward to seeing more of the world. He explains ”My travels have already taken me to places that I would have never gone to otherwise.” In fact, most recently Juggy D performed in Dubai. Pioneer Punjabi musician and artistic predecessor Gurdas Mann is Juggy D’s hero. Mann represents the tradition that the super star is heavily influenced by. Juggy’s music originates in Punjab and his heritage plays a large role in the music he creates and performs. All things Juggy D are linked to his culture, and he admits, ”I even think in Punjabi!”

On the occasions when Juggy D isn’t performing and recording, he enjoys partying with friends and according to Juggy, ”I work hard and play hard.” When asked to describe what he finds ”Sexy”, Juggy D rattles off without hesitation, ”Sexy is more than what is on the outside.
